Such little things as the dimensions of such a plug often come "close" in Chinese production, it seems. The threaded shank of the connector is about a tenth of an inch or so too long. The thread is fully tightened, but the edge of the barrel meeting the SO-239 it's screwed onto stops the rotation, not the base of the inside of the adapter as it should. So there is so much free play in the adapter itself that a slight tug on the cable (as is often the case with a few feet of cable dangling from a socket on the edge of a table when antennas are being tested) will cause the BNC part to fail . allowed to rotate, suggesting that the contact installed in the adapter may be unreliable and cause fluctuating SWR and meter performance readings during the test. For a permanent install, yes no, I wouldn't even recommend this if it had never moved. The contact is WAY too unreliable.
