I bought a mono headset IPD IPH-160 NC with USB to PC adapter cable, mute switch and volume control. Both the microphone and speaker in this headset sound great. The headband is adjustable. If it feels too tight for you, you can reshape it slightly to make it as loose or tight as you like. The cable features a quick connect connector so the USB port and inline controls (including mute, volume, and hangup) can remain connected to the computer. This makes it easier to detach only part of the headset. The headset is very comfortable and light. I first bought a similar Sennheiser headset but didn't like it. Sennheiser limits the speaker volume and the maximum volume was not sufficient. There was also no quick shutdown. This headset was cheaper and far superior in performance and sound quality. A note: I've found that even though your computer's volume may appear to be maxed out, the volume control on your headset still increases the volume. I did some test recordings with this headset. I couldn't be happier with the results.
