I'm so in love with these speakers. The sound quality is amazing. At first I didn't think the pairing would work because I didn't press the power button on BOTH speakers at the same time long enough. The attached video shows how I pair them and play on my Macbook via bluetooth. Of course, they also work on any mobile device. I needed a good bluetooth speaker for many reasons. I'm a preschool teacher and during the day I enjoy making music for my students (and for my own sanity too, lol). They fit perfectly because my class is quite large and it would be nice to have speakers on each side of the room. Another feature I like is that I don't have to use the speakers together. I can connect two devices, one for each speaker. Very often I'm concentrating on my class and having two speakers gives me the opportunity to play something from my phone and something completely different from my iPad. To only use one at a time, turn them on separately and they should show up as two different speakers in your Bluetooth settings. Another thing I can't wait to use it for is when I sometimes do late night Amazon deliveries with my boyfriend. The huge truck only has an FM radio, but if I bring these speakers I can listen to whatever I want on my phone. Just one speaker would be loud enough to drown out the noise a panel van makes while driving, so two would be amazing. You can control the volume from the bottom of the speaker, but I found it easier to use the controls from my iPad/iPhone/Macbook. The two speakers together are as loud as a DJ in the room during a party. After receiving this pair I immediately went back to buy another pair. I will probably get my mom a pair for her birthday too as she loves to listen to music while cooking.
