Believe it or not, I bought this for my cats. After years of spending money on fancy cat toys and watching them play with just the packaging, I got the idea to just buy the packaging materials. I found that cats were much more interested in boxes (yes), wrapping paper, and paper string, so I invested in these materials at a much lower cost than manufactured toys. I create "cat caves" with this paper by taking about 6 feet of paper, twisting it and twisting it into a loop (I usually use two sheets). It's been kitten play (diving, pushing, chasing) almost nonstop since then. I'm not sure how well it fits its original use, but cats definitely like it.
