Surprisingly well built but not intuitive

I wish I could give this five stars because this little thing is built like a tank. It is very heavy and strong for its size and feels like brick. The screen is excellent, and overall build quality is excellent. Unfortunately, it's very difficult and non-intuitive to use, with controls scattered across the front and side, difficult to see and manipulate for the simplest of operations. . Trying to remember what's on the screen in terms of the buttons is just poorly designed. Because it's so small, long, and not very wide, one-handed operation is just impractical. I've had to refer to the manual several times to do simple things because the controls are clunky and the screen is unintuitive. Another bad design feature is that they don't have a lanyard hole. It's such a shame that it's so well made and the screen is so good, but it's really unusable because of the design of the software and the button. After using it for a few more days I gave up and lowered my rating by 2 stars. I sent it back and will be looking for another device.
