Good purchase, I'm glad I bought it, very easy to do a difficult job

I took a chance to buy this tool and it was perfect. A high quality, well made American instrument. I tweaked it a bit by putting a better washer on it and lubricating the bolt with sealant. But be careful with the pen! One jumped out and hit the door window, but fortunately it didn't break. (User learning curve, not tool error.) Protect your eyes and keep your mind to yourself. When you get a fully compressed door spring, there is a lot of energy in it.
