I bought these specifically for a recent beach vacation and they fit my very wide feet perfectly (men's size 4E). I bought a size larger than I normally wear (10.5) because I didn't even want the possibility of a snug fit when hitting sand. They perform well at the beach and pool, and all the sand is easily washed off with a hose. I haven't tried them in the surf itself or in tidewater. However, I am very happy with my purchase and hope they last a long time.
