Review on Experience Ultimate Performance with the Kenda Small Block 8 XC Mountain Bike Tire by Chris Durandis

2.1 inches too narrow for effective trail grip. I'm 6" 154 lbs and this tire wears out constantly causing me to lose control and roll over a few times on the first ride on it which made a very good hard pack at our local single and double Track trail system was I bought this hoping to replace my Vee XCV which I normally ride in the rear just to try to find a more common spare tire and everyone is saying to get this one but get it it doesn't, at least not for the 29. However, I've used these on the front and back of my 26" dirt jumper and they work great, but the width isn't wide enough for high-speed trails on 29ers. It's unfortunate, because I won't be returning it can as I've ridden it and can't in good conscience give it to any of my friends so I'm sticking with it XCV I don't recommend it for 29er trail riding.
