They look great and are of excellent quality. I know they will last for years if not a lifetime. I feel my feet are safe and secure so I don't have to worry about them being run over or something breaking them if accidentally dropped. However, I always get my feet wet and am unhappy when I water the plants, which is a big part of my job. Can water be absorbed through the skin? It's terribly uncomfortable and I usually have to take a few breaks to take off my shoes and socks and let them dry. The boots are quite light, but very clunky and unwieldy. If you're on your feet all day (like me), you should probably invest in better quality insoles. It took my feet a while to adjust to the arch support but that's usually the problem I have. For $230 it would be nice to have something waterproof. Don't get me wrong, they look great, but I'd go for something a lot cheaper if I knew my feet were going to get wet to the skin. After wearing them for 2 weeks now and throwing the box in the bin I think I'm stuck with them.
