Review on 💪 Efficient and Lightweight: SHIMANO Ultegra R8000 SPD-SL XL Axle Carbon Road Pedal by Travis Filippi

If you already use the SPD SL there is nothing to say that you don't already know: good wide platform, secure clamping and precise entry and exit. They're almost identical to the 105 series aside from slightly less weight, but the 4mm longer axle makes them worth the price as you can only get these in Ultegra and up. The installer added 1mm shims to my old 105 but they started biting the crank after a short while and making an impression so this is not an upgrade solution. My only gripe is the price, but if you research them you can get them cheaper than the RRP.
