I attached the bag tightly to my XL21 Oreck Upright, although it didn't quite fit or look like the bag I pulled out. So I ran haphazardly, the dirt filled the inner pocket and eventually ruined my bag holder (outer pocket). I took her to an Oreck dealer and she showed me that the bag was not made for this model. That's why I say it doesn't fit all XL vertical oreks.
