I had to cut it in half but it worked.
It was perfect but I cut it in half to fit my turtle tank. However, the filter comes with a piece that splits the hose so you can control the flow so the hose is sized exactly to fit the outlet. So what ends up going on is the pre-screen, then my short pipe, then the flow control stuff (which I didn't want to use), then the inlet pipe that curves into the filter's propeller. I hope that makes sense.
