Review on HIYILL- 18R/HD5 Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Replacement - Compatible with Hampton Bay UC7078T CHQ7078T by Wayne Flores

This is a great control box for people who need a remote controlled fan or don't have a wall control hooked up yet. It is very easy to install, the remote control is responsive and works as expected. The remote's range is a little short unless you place it in a very large room, which shouldn't be a problem. The only thing I didn't like was the dimmer option. Only recently did I figure out how to actually get the dimmer function to work (although I didn't try very hard) as there were no instruction manuals on how to get it working. You have to hold down the Light/Dimmer button until the lights start to dim - assuming you have dimmable bulbs. If you want to make it brighter again, just repeat the process until your lights are bright again. However, it does what it's supposed to do and I haven't had any other issues with this product in the past few months that I've had it. .
