I am new to hats but when I realized that I need to protect my hair at night I decided to try this hat as it was the cheapest I could find. This hat fits my head snugly so I'm sure it won't fall off. However, it was so tight that I had to take it off in the middle of the night. I have a somewhat sensitive head, I don't use bandages often due to the pressure they cause so I'm not sure if this is the product just me. The material is satin but it is not double lined. So the outside is the smooth, silky part, while the inside is the "rough" side of the fabric. Not sure if it matters but if someone is looking for a sleek interior I wouldn't choose this one. In short, if you want to start wearing hats, ignore the rough inner layer and don't be too delicate. At the top, it's worth trying. For the price I'll keep this and either use it for the day or give it to someone else, but I think I'll invest in a more expensive, double lined and more adjustable one.
