I bought this wrench without a hub thinking it would be the same as the old ones old people use all dented and dirty but still kicking around. This new RIGID seems nice, heavy and aesthetically pleasing, but after further inspection and initial use it feels a bit cheap for a tough tool. Maybe it's because it's made in China and the predecessors were in the US? I'm not sure, but I have a Wheeler Rex torque wrench (also non-US made) for the big 3/8" Husky bands and it's a much better quality and the locking mechanism is a lot better while it's is thin for hard drives. a piece of stamped metal Unfortunately I would recommend a Raptor or Wheeler Rex torque wrench instead of a Rigid.
