Definitely helps with back/sciatica pain relief and provides extra support. I wish it had a little more compression but maybe I'm just a little small for average. My husband has one too and finds it really helps with pain and support. It fits under clothing but stands out when you're wearing a fitted top. But if you put on a loose t-shirt, no one will notice.
