Review on PerTronix 40001 Flame-Thrower High-Performance 40,000V 1.5Ω Ignition Coil by Mario Madden
Good coil Works great
High quality ignition coil. Works well. There is concern about the 1.5 ohm coil resistance as when replacing the PerTronix electronics the old external coil resistance is not recommended for use with this PerTronix coil (I left the external resistance on the machine and just bypassed it ie the resistor short-circuited ). I think the primary DC resistance of 1.5 ohms (about half of the old setup) is still fine for my wiring. I hope I'm not wrong.
