This collar literally saved my cat's skin. The poor guy is allergic to fleas, and every fall when the flea population increases, he tries to molt himself. Of course, like any cat, he becomes William Shatner when you first put the collar on him: CAN'T.BREATH.SHOULD.PULL.SLOWLY.BREATHING.WHY.but he's actually a very good fit and he can eat and move. around is pretty normal. It keeps him from reaching most of his body except his tail, so he looks like a squirrel until the flea med kicks in and I remove the collar. The shoulder strap was a little torn from his constant attempts to remove it, but so far he hadn't been able to squirm, bite, scratch. or delete it, which is pretty amazing considering how adept this particular cat is at removing collars.
