I love to travel and my service dog goes everywhere with me so I wanted something that would protect my back seat from all the dog hair as he commutes back and forth to work daily drives, go to the doctor, visit friends, shop with me and when I take my other 5 to the creek I have one who is always bad even when not eating and that's why I wanted the side pieces. Well the suction cups don't work at all to hold the sides and the suction cups can't stand being touched by a dog leaning on the window. The Velcro didn't hold up well at all. I used to work with car vinyl and stuff so I know how to put things on the inside and outside of cars and the velcro on the pillow itself is very strong but my dogs lean against the window so the part that's on mine Car stuck, loosened and never stuck again. The mat also doesn't have anything to hold it in place so when I opened the windows in my car with my dogs all 6 the mat flew quite high and up to the front seat so I improvised by tying the edge flap which is to protect my car i took it and tied it to the 2 secure loop hooks i have and just tie it 2 times to keep it from flying away. Cleaning is terrible for urine, dirt, vomit. I have a small portable carpet cleaner and I've used paper towels, towels and a hose and also the washing machine is fine with it, the carpet cleaner doesn't work with it at all so I then used a hose and brush to scrub it out and then give it a good rinse. it takes about a day to dry. Well I finally got to the point where I said it would be with this one, it's missing a suction cup, other suction cups don't work for windows, and the velcro that sticks to the car is thrown away so I have it said in the washing machine with cold water. and it worked great except the black cords got tangled on the suction cup and I then put it in the dryer on low heat for 30 minutes to dry it enough to put it back in my car and mine Roommates said it smelled nice and not like vomit (I haven't smelled it in 11 years) I'm disappointed in the quality considering how low it was and how weak the suction cups were, the thin strap and velcro that never lasted. But I still use it to keep my hair off the car carpet, I think it will help 🤷‍♀️
