Rubber instead of plastic

When we first got these I thought they were a little tight. But it is actually the tread width of the tire. They work very well with concrete. Everything seems fine on gravel and I turn them upside down when I have to put the tires up a tree for alignment. I will still use some yellow plastic on gravel.
