So I was very hesitant to buy this remote because of the price. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. A direct replacement from the manufacturer costs over $60 at the time of this review. I will come back to this review 6 months and a year from the original purchase date and provide updates on how it is holding up. First, the remote control is almost a direct replacement. for my original samsung voice remote control. The language function was rarely used and is not a mandatory feature. The remote control is very easy to set up. Insert the batteries by sliding the back cover. The battery cover is very easy to remove, just like my original remote. The batteries fit very well in the niches. Then press the two buttons above the batteries to sync it with your TV (the TV must be on). The buttons work much easier than my original. I prefer the raised buttons to the recessed ones on the original. The original remote button on the right wheel worked intermittently after 4 years of use.
