Review on 🏍️ Sena 10S-01D Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset Communication System (Dual Pack) - Black: Efficient and Reliable Communication for Riders by Kevin Elliott

We've clocked a halfway 1600 miles on our new Sena 10S; Use it to communicate between two drivers and connect to our phones for directions and music. They worked as advertised with good sound, clear intercom at speeds up to 70mph and much quicker to read than that and more volume. Actually I would give them 5 stars, but here we are before the first rain. We made sure that the plug of the charging port is present. They worked great during a downpour, but problems arose right after that which are still bothering us two days later. Both divisions caused trouble. Random power outages, intercom not working or intermittent, one device's intercom works but another's microphone doesn't work. One speaker works, the other doesn't. Randomly enter pairing mode, group intercom, etc. without touching a button. Removing and reattaching the device to the baseplate often changes what doesn't work, but doesn't fix the problem. Yes, we're being cycled on and off, repaired, etc., but the problems remain. In my opinion, these devices are not satisfactory and I advise against buying them. Update - Back from a trip. One block mostly recovered, except for the occasional speaker failure. The other device charged normally but did not turn on. I called the SEEN; They suggested a factory reset using a paperclip buttonhole. Oh god look at this. The paperclip hole is in front of the helmet mount and is open to water ingress. In no case should they be waterproof. Anyway, rebooting got the device working for a while; It indicated a full charge, all functions worked fine until it started turning off again. So he didn't recover. Wow and I just noticed that the price of the twin pack went up $80 in two weeks! what happened to it This is NOT a good buy.
