I have to assume (almost certainly) that the previous negative reviews are due to other unrelated issues such as: B. User error, high expectations or perhaps personal in nature. Why is this? Well, similar to the previous reviewer who stated he's had OtterBox cases in the past which (he claimed) were much more durable and well made, well I've had a few too; some are as old as the advent of the iPad. So I wasn't surprised when this particular one came along, and even better - after it was "installed". As I suspected, there was absolutely no difference from the previous cases I've used. NOBODY. Well, I don't really know if the above review (and any of the several dozen others - they all claim these cases are cheap fakes) was purchased from a company other than OtterBox. But one thing I do know: OtterBox (aka: Otter Products, LLC) will NOT sell its own product to customers - just to fool about 15 people. what: a few hundred dollars - at best? A multi-million dollar company risking its reputation and its butt just to scam a few Revain customers? Ah yes. it seems plausible.
