I had two weeks until the end of the football season when daylight saving time ended. So I bought two packs of 2 of these lights and mounted them on step stools and ladders pointing slightly down to the ground. The handle/stand on the light has multiple positions it can snap into, so I placed a short 2x4 behind the light and placed the handle/stand in a position where the 2x4 could hold the light in place and point it down . I placed the lights in a square, probably 40 feet by 40 feet. It wasn't like game night at Yankee Stadium, but we got to see everything we needed to see to have strong team training. I didn't want the kids there unless the ball was very, very visible because I don't want the kids getting hit in the face. And we had enough information to get the practice up and running. I know most people don't use these bulbs for that, but if you just want to light up a small work area then I know these bulbs are great for that too. They were bright enough and felt well made.
