We use some for alcohol and others for syrups that we put on homemade snow cones. These work amazing. I can't give stars for "flavor" because they have no flavor, which is a bonus. They won't make your liquid taste metallic. I give them a quick 10-15 minute soak in water with some bleach to remove any sticky residue or bacteria that may have built up. I don't recommend soaking my solution for long periods of time as it will attack the rubber inserts. Beautiful, easy to use and great price. I also don't recommend them for your dishwasher - they are light and fly from the pressure of the water in the machine. Dry air is one way to extend their life (rubber inserts).
