I'm about 5" 4" tall and the hole is right on my thigh. The quality is excellent for the price. However, on the 2nd day of using the wallet, the button on the outside fell off. As the button was brown and doesn't go so well with black and grey, plus it has a zipper, it didn't matter. It's deep so it will take a while to find keys and small items if you decide to fasten it use as an everyday bag.
