Well! Perfect for my pocket folding plane.

I used a leather belt with polish on the inside and finishing on the raw side. Then the belt continued to soil jeans and khakis. This is a much better alternative. I keep my pocket knives for planing/carving hardwoods (like cahuila, mamane, guava, etc.). After wetting the "soft" side with some water and cleaning the "suede", applied the green mixture (even better if it comes off like me). Ideal for knocking off burrs. I turned it over and applied some white mass and with light movements I achieved a very nice border. I usually sharpen to take pieces from my carving projects. After treatment with this skin and compounds, the calluses were shaved down to paper thickness, which is typical of OCD/ADHD. Redid a new Stockman CV Factory Case and found the factory hem was subpar, but this leather did the job. It looks like a 7 Iron leather insole but I could be wrong. Overall a great investment and above all the best alternative to the Flex-Cut PW-14 knife band.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • The list will be long.
