I bought two neckwarmers last year and they have kept me warm during my outdoor runs in New York. Technically these neck warmers are not fleece but a velvet material that keeps me warm. Does running in the cold make you sweaty? Absolutely, it doesn't retain moisture. I have a different neck that is warmer than better at retaining moisture but they keep me warm. I bought 2 more yesterday because I couldn't find the ones I bought last year. Same quality, the ones I ordered a few days ago are better, they fit my neck and head more snugly, which I'm very happy with. Will continue to order more if I ever lose them.
