Nice message base
This is a nice message base that works as expected, but I ran into a problem. The bases are too shallow to fit a standard size nut on my heavy 5/8" anchor. If this wasn't an upgrade and I had access to the bottom of the post I would use a large shovel to cut a hole in the center of the post. To improvise I had to insert a piece of 1/4" thick 6x6 plywood with a hole cut in it as a spacer. It won't show after installing the side plates. The bases need to be about 1/4" taller to accommodate these heavy ones pick up anchor.
