Great product, suitable for railings and posts

Much better than the galvanized Simpson that our pergola came with. They would be very easy to install if I didn't have to break the pergola to do it.

Quality and decorative mail!

Very simple and high quality post 6x6. Much better looking than any alternatives that are more useful than this one. It is both functional and decorative.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

How do you attach the base and do you have the equipment for it?

The quality of this product was AWESOME! The instructions are easy to follow. After installation, my 6" x 6" ladder rack didn't move! I got some extras for it because that's what people see when they walk up the stairs to my house.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Sufficient

Excellent product in the handrail

We bought these for a new carport. Very easy to install (and uninstall and reinstall if you make a mistake). The load information on the website makes it easy to check lifting capabilities. We mounted them on a concrete slab/foundation using concrete expansion anchors. Went like clockwork. You look great!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Deck to rack swap.

Wood deck end post bent causing the 4 post deck to hum. The problem was that the mast was installed in a concrete pit and a concrete slab formed around the masts. The problem is the results. Water ingress was allowed from all sides of the column. So the post was rotted at the base, about 1 foot of rotten wood. This product was the ticket to replace a bad support post. With a new post and 80 lbs of concrete infill, the new post has now been protected with a decorative and safe product. Epoxy was

Nice message base

This is a nice message base that works as expected, but I ran into a problem. The bases are too shallow to fit a standard size nut on my heavy 5/8" anchor. If this wasn't an upgrade and I had access to the bottom of the post I would use a large shovel to cut a hole in the center of the post. To improvise I had to insert a piece of 1/4" thick 6x6 plywood with a hole cut in it as a spacer. It won't show after installing the side plates. The bases need to be about 1/4" taller to accommodate these…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some little things
