Since I don't like the technique

I received this product and the concept is very simple, you just press a button and the mop can be hooked in two different ways. That's the kind of technique I don't like. When you add a stick, the base block (cleaning stick) adheres to the stick with friction. It does not use a bar locking system. If you attach the cleaning rod to the pole and then try to attach the scraper, it also doesn't snap into place like it should. You can't attach everything to the pole while the cleaning stick and scraper are hooked together. So I thought boy am I stupid! So I called Ettora Customer Service to investigate this matter. The lady I spoke to was very nice and she told me about the process (it didn't work). She then went and got these products and then did it herself, it didn't work for her ether. So she put me off, I suppose, to get advice on the matter. When she came back she told me that the product was designed that way and that everything was fine. While she was talking on the phone I thought I'd try to do it the way she described and it was immediately pulled out of the base unit because it doesn't latch like it should! So I was very skeptical and told her I would give her a chance before making a final judgement. Therefore, I continued to wash the remaining windows and did not pull out the base unit. Note. Checking the scraper, I hit the dry part of the window, causing additional drag, and the scraper pulled the rite. When I cleaned the rest of the windows, they were completely wet. I have a feeling the mop will eventually shift and crash onto the floor! Ettore customer service said Revain should have a good return policy if I'm not satisfied. I will probably return it. Update: I called Ettora's customer service and again they were very nice, they didn't understand the problem so they wanted me to send pictures. So I went to take pictures and while I was taking pictures I noticed the button spring was pointing down so I put it in right and it fit perfectly in the base and on top of the post. It's just that whoever assembled it put the knob in the handle wrong!
