It worked perfectly for me. I baked sandwich cookies as a gift, they turned out beautifully and well baked. Keep in mind that this process needs to be learned even if you follow the instructions provided. I've found it's easiest to hold the lid in place rather than using the latch to hold the lid in place while cooking. Even after making a few hundred of these, I still couldn't figure out how to make a pizza that's completely filled but didn't have any excess dough, so I improvised a solution and used a round-shaped cookie cutter to cut the excess off the biscuit after they are baked and still warm. Voila.
