Bought to wear with the Swiffer WetJet as even other brands of replacement tips become expensive over time. Of course, you can't use the nozzles as a spray as the seal will cover them, but the nozzles wet the pad enough to spot clean the floor. At the absorbency level, they are phenomenal. One of my dogs had an accident indoors and this thing soaked up the whole puddle without dripping. They've been washed a few times and I've had no problems with them wearing out. I always wash in cold water and tumble dry low to very low to avoid damaging the elastic. I've actually only used two pads so far, because you can use quite a few of them before washing and if one goes into the wash, the other is already clean.
