Fits my 2008 Chevy Cobalt with composite plastic headlights. To install I simply removed the headlight assembly, it has 2 10mm screws. A bit of fiddling with the plastic bumper pad, but it worked with a flat bar. Rotate the OEM ring, remove the old bulb and just install the new ring - new LED bulbs release with a slight twist and pull - you install the new flange/socket and reinstall the OEM ring (push and twist ), then install the actual LED cartridge, press and twist . To ensure correct alignment of the LED filaments I installed them fully first, then held the new flange with my finger, removed the LED cartridge and left the base in place. Then install the OEM collar and reseat the LED. NEGATIVE: My stupid GM daytime running lights don't work anymore and the "car" headlight doesn't work either. Now back to manual lighting - turn them on when needed and hopefully remember to turn them off when parking. Can I set a "beep beep" reminder - ignition off and lights on? *Peep peep*. *sigh* I'd give this 5 stars minus the loss of daytime running lights and headlights. I blame GM but at least my headlights are working again. UPDATE: The auto on/off feature works but the daytime running lights don't work and when I press 'Alarm' the headlights don't blink and the headlights don't blink. Stay on for a minute when you turn off the car and get out. (earlier with halogen lamps)
