I have a shallow rack that is only 22" deep so the standard Dell rack server rails won't fit. These shelves are perfect for your needs and can support the weight of a 65 lb server. The four brackets that attach to the rack itself have a nice L-shaped curve. I installed the four brackets first, mounted the shelf on top of them, moved it to where I needed support, and added four screws to each bracket. even included are single-sided nuts that prevent them from turning once hand-tightened. You don't have to try to squeeze the pliers there to hold the nut, it sits on its own and you can tighten the screws with a simple screwdriver. It takes longer. than a standard shelf, but it is much stronger and can withstand a lot of weight. I liked it so much that I bought a second one.
