I accidentally bought it for the 5D Mark II and do not part with it! Many people write that the lens is neither this nor that, not 35 mm and not 50 mm. In principle, they sell because of this, but on the contrary, it seemed to me that the distance was convenient. I bought from such a person for 2500 in a new condition with a filter, a box and a guarantee, a freebie in general! Shot at both 50mm and 35mm. 50mm on full seemed too far for street shooting, reporting. And 35mm is too wide. And here it is, 40mm turned out to be the best option for me, as it is close to 35mm. And the size is good! A lot of aesthetes and sissies appeared. They don't like the trunk, focusing is not as quiet as compared to the developers' statements. People are getting less and less. Do you take pictures and what do you do in general? Very quiet focus for me! And fast. 2.8 for me is already aperture. For portraits can already be shot open, my copy is very sharp. In general, this is a wonderful lens for a penny! Thanks to Canon for it! And another tip from me - learn to shoot on fixes) More movements)))
