Review on ICAN 86mm Carbon Time Trial Wheelset: Triathlon Aero Road Bike Clincher Tubeless Ready, Lightweight 1920g, 6 Pawls Hub (Standard Wheelset) by Darnell Golden

It doesn't work well when descending with crosswinds.

The wheels look great on my Kestrel and work very well on level ground and at speeds below 20mph. If you are a regular driver driving less than 20 hours an hour this is it perfect for you. The real problem is aerodynamics when you're going over 20 km/h and especially when going downhill. Going downhill you can easily reach 50 km/h and with a light side wind it is extremely difficult to keep the handlebars straight and not to wobble. You have to slow down to gain control of the bike and hope everything goes well. The thought of losing control at over 40 km/h is unrealistic. I think it's the cross section of the bike as it gives more surface area for crosswinds.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some bugs
