Bought for short-term rental. I needed something that was cheap enough that I could buy an extra set to occasionally replace missing parts, but still looked good and was durable. They appear to be a little flimsy but are actually quite durable. The appearance is elegant and simple. No rust after 5 months of use. This is exactly what I needed. UPDATE after 18 months of use: I sometimes get rust spots on knife blades. Knives only and only on blades, no handles. This happens when a knife is either placed in a stainless steel sink or left in the dishwasher and touches another steel utensil while it is wet. Apparently it is galvanic corrosion due to dissimilar metals. The rust is relatively easy to remove, but leaves stains on the blades that are no longer polished. I also bought a second set and found that this set has two forks that are curved slightly differently than the others that come from the factory, so they don't fold well.
