Review on Jabra Optimized Wireless Headset Softphone by Jason Wilson

Yes, the name is correct. I bought one of these in 2015 and it still works. Since then I have recommended this headset to numerous friends and colleagues and bought another one for my second job. GENERAL: I liked the sound quality and the integration with Microsoft Lync, then Skype for Business and now Teams. RANGE: Unlike Bluetooth headsets, this device allows me to move around the house and far out in the yard. The range is advertised as 300 feet, but in my experience it's closer to 500 feet. NO DELAY: Every Bluetooth device I've ever used has enough time lag to make active calls a bit choppy. This device does not have this disadvantage. COVID PRICES: Like everything working from home these days, it's costing a lot more than it did before the pandemic. The last time I bought one like this was in 2016 for $114. At the time of writing this article, the price is over $70 higher.
