Review on 🎥 Dazzle DVD Recorder HD V14.0 (Old Version): Capture and Preserve Precious Memories in High Definition by Cornelius Mosley

I ordered this to transfer some old home VHS tapes to more modern media - currently DVD. The software loads immediately after unpacking. The converter plugs in between your VCR, camera or whatever - and a USB port on your computer. When I ran the tape into the VCR, the video appeared flawlessly on the computer screen. I played the entire video, which allowed me to save it as a project file on my computer's hard drive. Then I made a DVD out of it. The DVD played flawlessly on my DVD player. However, the quality did not match the original VHS quality. Contrast and brightness seemed odd, with constant ripples of over-brightness throughout the video. I haven't figured out if I can tweak the quality to improve this, but it's not obvious how. True, VHS was originally taken over by 8mm home movies 30-50 years ago, but I was hoping for a quality on par with what I see on a VCR. The software has many features to edit and create your own movie with titles, effects, music, etc. However, it is a bit cumbersome for those just trying to convert old VHS to DVD.
