I'm using this with my Intel Compute Stick because Wi-Fi wasn't fast enough to stream HD video. With this solution I can stream from my server in a gigabit LAN. The other benefit is that the three USB 3.0 ports allow me to connect a wireless keyboard dongle next to the processor, and then I have another huge 11-port USB 3.0 hub that also plugs into the 3-port hub can be connected. Works great. The 3-port hub is a handy addition to the Intel Stick when I plan to travel with it, as it connects to a keyboard button (and up to two other items) for easy portability. This allows me to quickly disconnect from the main hub while still keeping some of my most important devices connected while on the go.
