We bought this to power our Cisco WAP-581-A-K9 WiFi module which requires PoE. This device has a slight increase in wattage (30W for PoE+) over the recommended Cisco device for this particular Wi-Fi access point, giving the power supply more headroom, less heat dissipation and I suspect it produces less RF electrical interference. Power section because the load is less than the rated load. The device only gets slightly warm to the touch and has been working properly for about 8 months. Good price and good build quality, can't complain. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive PoE source. I give it 5 stars but we didn't have enough time to rate durability but it's been almost a year without any issues. Therefore I think the 5 stars are justified for the time being.
