I am using the POE+ model to power a Ubiquiti Unifi Flex POE (USW-Flex) switch which then connects multiple Unifi Flex G3 Cameras powered. The switch correctly identifies the power consumption as 802.3AT and is currently drawing about 10W of the available 20W of the 802.3AT budget. Has been working for a month now with no problems.

This is my second Trendnet PoE+ injector that I have bought. The first has been working with my network access point for over 2 years without any problems. I bought a second one to use on another device and it works fine too. I prefer injectors over PoE switches because they are fanless and most PoE+ switches have fans and I try to keep all my network gear quiet.

I have a power hungry PoE camera that couldn't power my PoE switch, the seller suggested this device and voila, no more problems! Put this on a constant power UPS and run the camera cable and switch cable through this unit. It took a few seconds to install, and I was back online, making sure my switch no longer had to power the camera.

Some devices offer the required 30W PoE+ power but do NOT report that this power is supported. I had another 30W PoE+ adapter that WILL NOT WORK with the Axis PoE+ camera. I dared and it worked great! (The new camera firmware from Axis "detects" the correct power supply to the camera and if proper COMMUNICATION is not established, it will not work, even if your PoE adapter supplies 1000W of power).

I've bought several of these switches and found that none of them work with the new 802.11AT standards. In a conversation with the manufacturer, they didn't seem to know the specs of their devices but claimed they should work without support. They also stated in writing that it is IMPOSSIBLE for their products to be defective when the rest of the world knows that new products can be defective. I wouldn't recommend buying this brand unless headaches and wasting time are enjoyable.

This injector powers a Sony 601 D20X security camera with an optional microphone at a distance of 70 meters. They work smoothly and without interruption. A splitter is not required. Now I don't have to worry about the weather ruining another power supply or having to use a long extension cord. Just make sure your camera is PoE or PoE+ compatible. I don't know what exactly this thing is doing, but I'm getting faster speed at the end of my 500ft cable than at the source. I chose trendnet because it's one of the few US companies when you call the right number they just pick up the phone and help you and I needed a lot of help because I've never done this before but everything works fine

We bought this to power our Cisco WAP-581-A-K9 WiFi module which requires PoE. This device has a slight increase in wattage (30W for PoE+) over the recommended Cisco device for this particular Wi-Fi access point, giving the power supply more headroom, less heat dissipation and I suspect it produces less RF electrical interference.
