This injector powers a Sony 601 D20X security camera with an optional microphone at a distance of 70 meters. They work smoothly and without interruption. A splitter is not required. Now I don't have to worry about the weather ruining another power supply or having to use a long extension cord. Just make sure your camera is PoE or PoE+ compatible. I tried it first with the wrong camera. Technical support is available 24/7, but expect it to be on hold for a few minutes. I don't know what other devices this thing will work with, but I'm happy with how it powers my camera and its powerful night vision. 802.3at/af
