Before using this product, you should be aware that it improves conductivity between mating surfaces and also lubricates them. When used in a plug/socket connection, this provides seamless electrical conduction between the two surfaces, but can also allow the plug to fall right out of the socket with no handling other than firmly taping it in place. This was my first use and my only mistake when I used it on a T9 lightbulb connector which sparked and flickered. The arcing and flickering stopped, but the plug wouldn't stay on at all. I had to replace the dashboard. Another more useful use was improving the battery terminal connection in my LED flashlight, which I had to periodically tap on my leg to get the light to glow properly. Silberfett solved this problem perfectly. I also used it on a bad headphone audio connection (careful with sparse lube) which also fixed the issue. Being a lubricant, it moves quite easily. Without careful maintenance, it can smudge onto surfaces and potentially bond things that shouldn't be bonded. The quantity sold is very small, but the quantity needed for each problem is almost microscopic. Oh, and I have no idea how to clean it when it comes down to it. It works great but be careful.
