One of the easiest remote starters I have ever installed. I have a 2013 Ford Escape. Follow the wiring diagram on the advice sheet and everything will work perfectly. The only 2 wires you need to strip and connect to the Escape are the CAN bus wires on the OBD2 connector. Otherwise you will need to connect 3 wires to the T-harness before proceeding with the installation. I strongly recommend this. Update: I thought I'd share a few more important details. 1: If my car is left overnight with the doors locked, pressing the lock button three times will not start it. I have to press the unlock button first, then the lock button 3 times. This works every time I do it. I suspect it has to do with the factory anti-theft device. #2 My box had a label with the web address of a tip sheet. It was wrong. I had 2380. This brought me to 2380P. "P" means pre-wired. The regular 2380 is NOT pre-wired. You need to go to mypushcart.com, click on the tip sheets, click you got it from Revain, select the 2380, then your car you put it in and you will be given the correct tip sheet. #3 There are 2 links in the tip sheet. for a video to help you. There are two things wrong with the escape video. (1) The first video "Preparing the Wire Harness" asks you to connect the purple-yellow wire and near the end it says if you have an exit to cut that wire. That is not right. DO NOT cut this wire to the exit. The advice is right, the video is wrong. (2) The second video at the end shows how to initialize it. It wasn't right for my escape. The correct way is again in the tip sheet and worked great. #4 You do NOT need to connect the door lock wires. This is only required if using an aftermarket alarm and/or keyless entry. If you just install this and use the factory keys, no wires are needed.
