I have a very heavily planted patio with some flowers but mostly veggies in big pots. I have a timer connected to a water hose located in a corner on a small patio table which connects to a siphonject which in turn connects to an on/off valve and then to a dial sprinkler (5 spray options from the 99 cent store). ). I simply fill my 2 gallon watering can with water and a tablespoon of "full" water soluble fertilizer and for 5 minutes around 11am daily or every other day as scheduled she waters everything in the garden and adds fertilizer through the siphon.
