Bought for my 7 year old who is smaller than most kids his age. They're definitely big, but I did it on purpose, so I hope they last a few years. If the straps are worn in a smaller size and the sides are fastened with velcro, they are suitable for this season. I'm sure next year will be perfect. I'm glad to be able to buy quality snow gear that will last for several years. According to my son, it keeps you very warm and never gets wet. We live somewhere where there is a lot of snow and cold all winter long.
