I'm 5'1", weigh 185 lbs and wear 12" x 12" jeans. I'll tell you this if you have a similar build and are looking for such a chair. When working on the computer, I prefer to keep my back straight and fixed, with the lumbar support low on my back. When I rotate my chair to view my 55 inch TV, which is about 8 feet away from me and hanging from a 9 foot ceiling, I leave my back completely free and unfixed so that it follow me like me Lean on. Carry on or get out of my chair. The maximum back angle is almost perfect for this. The seat cushion is medium firm, which is what I like. The two-dimensional armrests are great. While I'm at the computer, I've brought them all the way to the top and all the way to the front. When watching TV, they fall all the way down and all the way back so they're accessible when I lean back. Little quibbles. Even at my height, I wish the seat could be lowered a few more inches. Lumbar support, while good, is difficult to achieve while seated, but possible. But I like that I can control the height and angle of the support. I also wish I could recline the seat a bit when leaning back in the chair so I don't slide forward after a while. Overall very good value for what I paid.
