It doesn't work well for my podcasting. Little did I know that I had to speak directly into the microphone without turning my head for it to pick up my voice. The first podcast I recorded with it couldn't be used as it was recorded as some of it was very loud (when I spoke directly into the mic) and most of it was hard to hear. It's picky, so the only way to make it sound consistent is to speak into the same very narrow spot of the mic all the time, which isn't easy. We had to do a lot of installation work to make my voice heard. I wouldn't buy it again.
